SPACELAB9 ANNNOUNCES RELEASES FOR DARK SOULS I, II & III

July 21st, 2017 – Having been recognized as one of the most critically acclaimed game series in the history of the action rpg genre, the unforgettable score music from the DARK SOULS trilogy makes its long-awaited debut on vinyl care of Spacelab9 in conjunction with Bandai Namco games. The DARK SOULS game series, infamous for the viscerally challenging experience that the gameplay provides is equally known for its dark and brooding soundtrack that sets the mood as the chosen undead traverse the kingdom of Lordran. 

Each standalone double LP release has a unique colored vinyl variant edition packaged in a full color gatefold jacket and will be available exclusively from Think Geek. The first release in the trilogy, DARK SOULS: Original Game Soundtrack double LP “Blue Poison Mist” variant features the full 23 track score by the legendary Motoi Sakuraba (Tales Of..series, Super Smash Bros., Star Ocean, Golden Sun) plus five bonus tracks from the Artorias of the Abyss DLC.  One of the most celebrated sequels in gaming history, DARK SOULS 2, has a soundtrack that is lauded by fans and critics alike with its intricate, moody score and it is beautifully documented with the release of DARK SOULS 2: Original Game Soundtrack double LP “Red Poison Mist” variant which features a masterful 32 track performance by returning fan favorite Motoi Sakura. Closing out the trilogy of releases DARK SOULS 3: Original Game Soundtrack double LP “Black Poison Mist” variant features t full 24 track score by composer Yuka Kitamura (Bloodborne) with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and as a bonus music from the E3 2015 debut trailer.

 All three DARK SOULS Original Game Soundtrack Double LPs will be available from ThinkGeek.com on Friday July 21st.

When and where are the newsletter exclusive versions going up for sale? Or, are they already sold out? I’m seeing two dates in the email you guys sent out earlier today in regards to when they’re going up for sale: July 21st and 22nd. Thanks.
